BYRNE BROS TOY ICONS
Project Brief
The challenge was to create a set of 20 digital icons for a toy company. The client, Byrne Bros. Toy Company was launching a retro toy line bringing back the 20 most popular toys from the last 100 years and wanted icons to promote the campaign.
FINal ICONS
In Illustrator, I turned my sketches into digital icons unifying them with a simplified, primary color palette. I also created a one-color version, to make them more versatile. Once I had these finalized, I began working on the applications of them.

PROCESS: SKETCHES
I began by researching the 20 most popular toys since the 1920s and made a list. I then made sketches of the most interesting ones from each decade. I wanted things to be round, bubbly, and fun, so that it would be appealing to kids and also nostalgic for adults.
